introduction
Mysticaris is not a traditional approach to symbolism, art or tarot.
Developed by Amadea H. Ris, Mysticaris exists as both an evolving artistic identity and a symbolic framework.
Rooted in archetypal language and intuitive practice, it moves between art and inner work — approaching tarot, painting, and film not as separate mediums, but as tools for perception, reflection, transformation and self-knowledge.
The name itself merges mystic with a reconfiguration of the artist’s own name, forming ARIS — a structural axis within the project:
A — Artist
R — Reaching
I — Into
S — Self
This internal structure reflects the core movement of the work: a continuous turning inward.
Rather than imposing fixed meanings, Mysticaris follows an intuitive, process-led approach in which images reveal their own logic as they unfold.
Mysticaris is therefore not a system to be learned, but a language of synchronicity to be entered with perfect love and perfect trust for the present unfolding.
The Mysticaris emblem emerged through a process of refinement, resolving into a simple equilateral triangle — a form long associated with balance, structure, and transformation.
Within the triangle, linear elements subtly interweave the letters A, R, I, and S, forming a hidden internal structure. A single grounding line connects these elements, completing the shape and anchoring the composition.
The symbol gradually opened beyond its initial construction.
This unfolding is reflected in the emergence of the symbol of Trinity and later the Flower of Life, expressing harmony, balance, and interconnectedness within the visual identity.
The Mysticaris typographic system further extends this language, drawing subtle influence from the ancient script of Elder Futhark, grounding the project within a timeless, archetypal lineage.
ABOUT the creator
Amadea H. Ris is an interdisciplinary artist and founder of Mysticaris, an evolving artistic and esoteric platform exploring transformation through image, symbol, and lived experience.
Born in Slovenia in 1994, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Art Education and a master’s degree in Painting (Video, Animation, and New Media) from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana.
Her work moves between painting, film, and tarot, engaging archetypal, mythological, and psychological dimensions of transformation as a lived, intuitive process.
Influenced by Carl Jung and Clarissa Pinkola Estés, she developed The Isness Tarot through klecksography — an intuitive technique where images emerge organically rather than through predefined structure.
Alongside her artistic practice, her work has been presented in film festivals and socially engaged projects, bridging personal experience with collective symbolic language.
Her work invites not interpretation, but participation in self exploration.
Mysticaris unfolds through different mediums — one of them is The Isness Tarot.
